Three friends, one small roaster, and a shared love of Arabic coffee traditions. This is how Qahwa & Co. began.
From a small roaster to a neighbourhood ritual
Qahwa & Co. opened its doors on Al Wasl Road in early 2022. Our founders — Leila, Omar and Marcus — had spent years bouncing between Dubai's roasteries and specialty cafes in Melbourne, Addis Ababa and Sana'a, and wanted to create somewhere that felt rooted in both sides of that story.
We roast our beans weekly in small batches, serve them on a custom espresso bar, and pair them with pastries baked before the sun comes up. Every detail — from the majlis-inspired seating to the dallah on the counter — is there to slow you down.
Single-origin beans, sourced with care
We source directly from smallholder farms in Ethiopia, Yemen, Colombia and Rwanda. Our roaster profiles each lot for filter and espresso, and every bag you see on our shelf was roasted within the last 10 days.
